Everyone has a Custodes army that they somehow collected over the years.
It’s easy enough. Three-man squads are easy to accrue, easy to paint and a force takes shape rapidly. Tribune Hale is a capstone miniature, a sculpt that is dominant without being domineering. Of course this is the commander.
The gold was created with the pre-shade technique, using complementary colours of green and purple to add depth to the shadow without resorted to shades of brown. A purple cloak was added rather than red to mark out the command position Ixion Hale has within the Legio Custodes.
