Chapter Master Marneus Augustus Calgar.
Marneus Calgar, the Grand Daddy of the 40K universe. The Ultramarines were my very first army, and Calgar has held a strange fatherly vibe for me.
The terminator sculpt is my favourite iteration of this character. It’s stern, implacable and domineering. The paint scheme was designed to be polished with gleaming highlights. By using turquoise to highlight ultramarine you get a richer cobalt.
The painting process was filmed and will be published via the Patreon in full 4K. This was done entirely with a brush.
