This course breaks down the basics of colour\, demonstrates colour choices and how they influence overall tone\, and an extensive examination of your own brush work. These skills transfer across the entirety of your hobby\, and is a must for those looking to make that next step in progressing their painting. \nLearn how to interpret and use the colour wheel to create more dynamic paint jobs on your miniatures. Learn the basics of colour theory\, usage and simple colour mixing in designed to break the fear of painting busts. \nWhether you’re a seasoned artist or a beginner\, join us in exploring the fundamentals of the master’s tool: The brush. \n* \nThis is a 2-day course designed for beginner to intermediate miniature painters. \nStudents will have a miniature and workbook and EXCLUSIVE bust provided for them on the day. \nEquipment\n\nSet of brushes (you can buy a core set here and will be waiting for you at the venue).\nA selection of paints (primaries including blue\, yellow\, red\, white & black as well as a handful of your favorites).\nWet palette (we recommend Redgrass Games Large Palette )\nNotepad & Pen.\n\n* We do have a limited availability of all of the above. Please contact us beforehand if you cannot bring any\, or would like to try them out before purchase. If you turn up with nothing else but the shoes on your feet\, you will still be able to participate in the class. \n \nHotel\nIf you’d like to stay overnight there is a hotel very close to the studio (you can throw a rock at my window from your room – it’s that close!)
