Painting a super-heavy presents a very different set of challenges to painting a conventional miniature. The scale of the model changes how we approach colour modulation, light, texture and weathering— and techniques that work beautifully on infantry can quickly become lost across a much larger surface.
This hands-on workshop explores painting super-heavy vehicles. We’ll look at how to establish light across large forms, create depth through weathering, control colour and contrast across big surfaces, and learn what the best way to sub-assemble the miniature is.
Students will (ideally) need: Brushes
