Lil’Legend Academy: Painting Course Brush Skills

GET YOUR SH*T PAINTED – Hobby Challenge: Kill Team.

1 weekend, 1 kill team – and you. By the end of the weekend, you will have a full painted kill team, as well as a head bulging with new knowledge on how to paint your stuff!

This is a 2-day course designed for ALL SKILL RANGES.

Students will need a built kill team before the start of the event, and the following equipment:

Equipment

• Set of brushes (you can buy a core set here and will be waiting for you at the venue).
• A selection of paints (primaries including blue, yellow, red, white & black)
• Wet palette (we recommend Redgrass Games Large Palette )

Suggested Equipment

• Set of brushes (you can buy a core set here and will be waiting for you at the venue).  Make sure they include a set of dry brushes and crappy brushes for chipping.
• A selection of paints (primaries including blue, yellow, red, white & black as well as paints for your chosen legion/chapter of choice. We’ll have a chat about recipes on the run up to the course to make sure you have everything you need).
• Wet palette (we recommend Redgrass Games Large Palette )
• Airbrush and Compressor with holder.
• Acrylic Thinner and airbrush cleaning solution.
• Weathering powder (a good selection of browns to greys would be ideal).
• Paper Towels.
• Oil Paints (list will be sent to attendees – but don’t worry, we have plenty here).

* We do have a limited availability of all of the above. Please contact us beforehand if you cannot bring any, or would like to try them out before purchase. If you turn up with nothing else but the shoes on your feet, you will still be able to participate in the class.

Hotel

If you’d like to stay overnight there is a hotel very close to the studio (you can throw a rock throw my window from your room – it’s that close!)
