This piece was a conversion by the Fenrypian Forge for the client who wished me to paint it. It is an incredibly precise detailed conversion that was a joy to paint.
I used my preferred Ultramarine recipe to build the armour plate and used a small round-headed brush to build the microfractures. I did not heavily weather the armour as I wanted the contrast between Remus and the broken word bearer at his feet.
The skin tone was created by wet blending turquoise, magenta, and yellow into a base to generate as much contrast as possible. The eyes took a few passes to complete, as I wanted the pupils as small as possible, like pinpricks set against the horror of Calth aflame.
