Marduk Sedras – Lord of Angels
Sedras was thought to be the longest-lived Space Marine. Could Sedras have walked the same soil as the Emperor as his Angel cleaned the Thunder-Warriors? Is this the same Sedras that championed the Host of Stone, later to later become lord of the Dreadwing? Like so many heroes of this age, the exact nature of Marduk Sedras is lost to history.
The most reliable notations of Sedras come from the Thramas Crusade, where he commanded the Dreadwing in cleansing the system of Night Lord presence. During this campaign he wielded the Death of Worlds, a sword made from the fragments of Adamantium collected from Hive Cities destroyed by the Eskaton in their first campagin. More fragments were added to the blade’s length, with each new world the Eskaton destroyed and by the end of the Great Crusade, it had grown so long that only the strongest in the Legion could bear it into combat.
Yes, we can add this model to the collection of Dark Angels painted by the studio. You may notice the red on the base. Why is it so red? It’s our take on Phosphex. The Dark Angels of the Age of Darkness weren’t very kind to the worlds they prosecuted campaigns. They would soak the surface with phosphex, cleansing all life, before launching assaults to finish off whatever was left. We’ll be bringing a full tutorial to our online courses for this miniature. In the mean time enjoy our Dark Angel back catelogue.
