Necromunda Ash Wastes Nuclear Mutie
I love Necromunda. Ever since I saw that bare-chested beefcake roaring into gunfire from the original boxed set I knew I had found a home. It’s a fascinating world to explore. It’s the closest thing we have to WArhammer40K’s satirical roots and provides a fantastic backdrop to tell your own stories.
The older I get, the more I realize I won’t be a space marine. It’s a sad, slow realization of a 35-year-old man to come to. The older I get, the more I realize my place in the world, and how that would translate into this universe. I would not be the all-conquering general, laying waste to systems. I wouldn’t be a lithe champion of my people, nor a chosen one gifted with a sword of awesome potential.
No. I’d be this dude. A misbegotten fungus farmer eking out a living in the wastes.
At least I’d have a third arm.
Necromunda Ash Wastes Mutie. This miniature is from Imitation of Life Miniatures – a 3-d sculptor with a unique eye for the dejected sub-humans. They were printed on an 8K printer through our PRINTING SERVICE and it was a paint job I got in between commission work. Brimming with details, it’s a painter’s dream. It’s not the most advanced paint job I’ve ever created, but by god it was fun!
