The Conversion Process
This project aimed to craft a unique vision of Khârn during the Heresy, emphasizing his role as a disciplined yet brutal warrior before the Butcher’s Nails fully consumed his mind. Using a mix of Forge World and third-party bits, the conversion includes:
- A custom pose, mid-charge, with Gorechild raised high
- Intricate armor detailing with battle scars and chain embellishments
- A blood-splattered aesthetic, balancing realism with cinematic drama
- Subtle nods to his future as the Betrayer without losing his Heresy-era identity
Painting & Finishing Touches
The paint scheme reflects his time as a World Eater loyal to Angron yet teetering on the brink of insanity. The iconic blue and white armor is weathered, with red streaks hinting at his savage tendencies. Blood effects add motion and narrative, telling the story of a warrior lost to the thrill of battle.
